William (Bill) Williams has been married to his wonderful (and patient) wife (Laura) for the past 31 years, 10 months (but who’s counting) He has been blessed to have found his soulmate. They have two children, Mindy and Donald who they are very proud of for just being themselves. He has been blessed with 2 grandkids Christian and Millie who he adores and spends as much time as he can playing with them. Millie was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease when she was 6 months old and had to spend 7 months at Duke Medical Center receiving the best care that she could get. After going through a ton of test and a successful Bone Marrow Transplant, she is doing well. She is why he has not been playing on the tour this year because she is immune compromised. Once the pandemic is over, we will see Bill back on the course joking with all his E-D tour teammates.
Bill was born September 10th, 1963 in LaPorte, Indiana, and after High School in 1982, he joined the United States Navy as a Data Systems Technician and enjoyed a successful 20-year career which allowed him to travel around the world. It was during a tour in Pearl Harbor, HI. that he got addicted to the sport that brings us all together each weekend, and has been playing for the past 35+ years. The only thing that Bill likes to do more than playing golf, is spending time with his family and friends. Currently Bill works as a Systems Engineer supporting the U. S. Navy.

First let me start by saying
"I Love This Game Called Golf". Born July 8 1964 to William Wright and Catherine Broaddus in Philadelphia, PA. A intercity kid that didn't know about golf, just baseball, basketball and football. I was about 13 or 14 years old when an adult neighbor tried to introduce the game of golf but I didn't want to hear it. It wasn't popular nor even seen in my neighborhood. In January 1985 I joined the U.S. Navy with boot camp in San Diego, California. In the year 2001 that changed so many lives. The dayof 9/11, the year I made Chief Petty Officer and I commenced playing this game of golf to this day still. At that time I couldn't get enough of it. I would practice about 3 - 4 times a week from 1pm -6pm (1300 - 1800) on NOB's freegolf course until the HOV lane opened up and I would play at-least twice a week too. Yes, I would play hooky from work in the afternoons and sometimes in the morning as well to play around with my buddy Ron Burton...lol

I say "One of God's Greatest gift are Grand-babies". And I have three of the loveliest kids, Stephanie, Andre' and Dominique that have blessed me with four wonderful grand-babies; Shayiana, Kevin Jr., Kylah and Oakland. They are my Heart and Soul but I do Love this game of Golf as well.. Come On Cleat-Us
I was born at Portsmouth Naval Hospital to two wonderful parents, Dennis C. Brickhouse, Sr. and Martelia C. Brickhouse (both deceased).

Upon graduating from the Norfolk Public School system I enlisted in the U. S. Navy...following my father’s retirement legacy of 22 years 9 months and 8 days. My service included combat action in Vietnam, a Mediterranean and numerous Caribbean cruises in only four plus years. (I enjoy my four years) I’m also a NSU alumni...BS in Accounting “Behold the green and gold.”

I’ve been married to my elementary and junior high school sweetheart (Joanne) for 39 years. We have two adult children and one grandson and another grandchild on the way.

In regards to the game of golf, in the mid 90s, Mr. J. R. Locke, was very insistent on me coming out to join him to play the game. However, at that time I couldn’t see myself (like many of you) chasing a little white ball around a golf course.

Unfortunately, when my father passed in 2003, my interest in the game peaked and was found.

Although our golf crew during that timeframe had no clue or really concepts of the game...we met at Oceanview every Saturday morning and just kept hitting golfs balls. As we became more proficient...we then began to travel to other courses throughout the country and the Hampton Roads area.

I joined the ED-Tour in 2018, and attended my first official end of the season banquet. I saw Mr. Andre Broaddus practically take home almost every trophy that was presented. I then made up my mind that I was going take home several trophies the next year. I took home one of our most coveted trophies “Player of the Year” (challenge bracket) I also won a Major, and I won most improved player on tour.

In closing, I began to write my Famous Book that so many of you have heard about. “ HOW TO PLAY GOLF AND WIN” its on The NY Times best seller list. (Not Literally) Everyone can get a copy...within your mind for only $199.99 hard copy and online it’s “FREE”!!! LOL
I was born in Brooklyn of the great Empire State of New York. The youngest of seven siblings to wonderful parents, Cordelia and James Dorsey.
In 1979, after a year and half of attending Long Island University, I enlisted in the U.S Air Force to take a 4-year break from the NYC grind. That turned into a 28- year career as in the Air Force as an AF medic. It was definitely one of the best decisions I ever made. My service allowed to see the world, meet wonderful people and expand knowledge and wisdom of living, loving and assisting with healing of the sick and wounded veterans and their families.
My AF career took a streetwise young man on a journey that allowed me to live in and travel around the world as I built my international portfolio. My assignments allowed to live and work in California, 2 tours in Korea, England, Italy, Japan, Virginia and finishing up Maryland in 2007. I also served on multiple deployments as an independent medical technician to the multiple Caribbean Islands, European and Southeast Asia countries. What a journey.
I meet my lovely and wonderful wife, Alison in England. Married for 39 years with 4 great children, and 8 grandkids with 1 on the way. I been living here in Virginia since 1997. I feel blessed.
I started playing golf in the mid-90s. It was a natural transition from an avid tennis player preparing myself for the country club lifestyle. I used to caddy as young kid and thought what a silly slow game for old men. Who knew, I would prefer to golf over basketball (I was better than most). Now I keep my 13 girlfriends in my car ready for action.
I joined the E-D Golf tour in 2013 when it was the Kenny Easley and Bobby Dandridge Golf tour that played only on Fridays. We have come a long way as a golf tour since those days. I’m a proud winner of ED Golf Tour modified Grand Slam (I have all four Majors trophies on my shelves and A Flight Player of Year). In closing, what enjoy most enjoy about the E-D golf tour is the friends, fellowship and chance to give back to the community with providing scholarship for young people and providing assistance to people in need. Looking forward to our organization grow as one of the premier golf charity organizations in the North-East.
I was born in Columbia, South Carolina and raised by my Mother and Father along with four sisters and four brothers. In 1976, I graduated from High School and joined the United States Navy seeking adventure and a sense of purpose in life. Racial tensions were also high during this time. At the time Ebony magazine dubbed Mr. Thurgood Marshall "the most important Black man of the century--a man who has had more effect on Black lives than any other person, Black or White”. Marshall fought to have blacks admitted to then-segregated state universities and challenged the armed services to offer equal treatment for black recruits. Following Avionics “A” school in Millington TN, I reported aboard USS DWIGHT D EISENHOWER (CVN 69). I supervised avionic work centers supporting the Radar Systems on the A-7 Corsair, S-3 Viking and F-14 Tom Cat aircraft. Following deployments to the Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean Sea and the Caribbean, I reported to Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) as a student in 1992. I trained personnel and inspected Command Managed Equal Opportunity (CMEO) programs. I also took up this relaxing sport called GOLF. In September of 1999 I reported to COMPATRECONFORLANT Staff, Norfolk VA. I was promoted to Master Chief in 2000 and assumed the title and responsibilities of RECON Force Maintenance Master Chief. This assignment also provided me the opportunity to meet and golf with some great individuals. After the extensive travels, staff meetings and the 2002 terrorist attacks on the United States I transferred to USS SAIPAN (LHA 2) after which I ended a thirty year career, August 2006. The day following retirement I married my wife Sandra and commenced to enjoy the married life and an occasional golf outing. I received a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Saint Leo University in 2010 and Supreme Courts of Virginia certification for Mediation. I currently work at NAVSEA’s Combatant Craft Division at Little Creek as a Logistics Engineer. It is a pleasure to serve as a Board Member on the E-D Golf Tour.
Earl Spaulding was born in Pontiac, Michigan, and is the oldest of 6 children. Earl grew up in the mid-south area and the home of Elvis Presley in Memphis, Tennessee. A proud Marine Corps veteran with 10 years of service, Earl now works for Verizon and tries to play golf whenever time allows.  Earl started playing this game we love in 1998 and hasn't stopped playing since, For the last nine years Earl travels to Myrtle Beach, SC to play in the World Amateur Championship, which hosts over 3100 golfers from around the world. Earl is married to his wife of nearly 30 years, Tammie, with two kids, Brandon and Bianca, and also a proud grandfather of Noah and Quincy Spaulding. Earl currently serves as the Treasurer of the E-D Golf Tour.
